ENA Annual Meeting

Eastmoreland Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting
Thursday, May 15, 2014, 7 p.m.
Duniway School Library, 7700 SE Reed College Place

A copy of the meeting agenda can be found here.

The Eastmoreland Neighborhood Association’s annual meeting each May is the meeting at which board members are elected by neighborhood residents and officer positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) are chosen by the newly elected board members. Any neighborhood resident may seek election to a board position. To be eligible for an officer position, one must have served as a board member for at least one year.

Board members serve a three-year term. Board members are expected to attend each monthly Eastmoreland Neighborhood Association meeting, held on the third Thursday of each month from September through May, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Duniway School. Most board members also chair committees or events, such as land use, communications and the Eastmoreland Garden, though residents can serve as committee and event chairs without serving on the board.

Officer positions are for one-year terms.

There is a total of 20 member positions on the Eastmoreland Neighborhood Association board (including the officer positions), of which four positions will be up for election at the May 15 annual meeting.

A current roster of board members can be found here. Anyone who has questions about the annual meeting is encouraged to contact Karl Hausafus, ENA Vice President, at vicepresident@eastmoreland.org.
