It’s Eastmoreland’s gala July 4th parade, starting and ending at Duniway School.
Celebrate the Fourth of July at the 23rd Annual Neighborhood Parade
Mark your calendars for 11 a.m., Monday, July 4.
The parade starts in front of Duniway School on Reed College Place, travels three blocks north, turns at Claybourne Street and then returns to Duniway in the southbound lane of Reed College Place. (So if you miss the first segment of the parade, you can watch the instant replay.) At the conclusion of the parade, everyone congregates at Duniway when our wonderful friends, Gretchen and Jerry, from Otto’s Sausage Kitchen break out (and grill) complimentary hot dogs (donations are gladly accepted to help offset Otto’s costs). Soft drinks are also free this year, thanks to donations from New Seasons Market on Woodstock.
Be sure to decorate bikes, trikes, scooters, strollers, yourself, your kids, and your dog in red, white, and blue!
Join your friends and neighbors for this festive Eastmoreland tradition!
Volunteers are needed and appreciated! For more information contact parade coordinator Steve Baker at 503-254-9230 (home phone), 503-320-7032 (cell phone), or firstname.lastname@example.org.
