Information about Dutch elm disease

Dutch elm disease is a significant threat to the hundreds of elm trees that define the character of Eastmoreland. The City of Portland’s Urban Forestry Division monitors the health of many of Eastmoreland’s elm trees and identifies those that may be in need of removal to help stop the spread of Dutch elm disease.

The Eastmoreland Tree Committee works with the city to address concerns about Dutch elm disease and has added a fact page to this website with more information, which you can find here under the Tree Committee section.
